Hi, I'm Caroline Marsters, Founder of Virtual Bookkeeping & Advisory.
With over 15 years' experience in accounting, finance and executive leadership, I've helped hundreds of Australian businesses build stronger financial foundations.
My career has taken me from public accounting and running my own successful bookkeeping and advisory practice, through to executive finance leadership within rapidly growing multi-million-dollar organisations. Along the way, I've learned that great financial management isn't just about compliance—it's about giving business owners confidence in their numbers and helping them make better business decisions.
Experience That Makes a Difference
My journey began in 2007 when I established my first bookkeeping business. As my clients grew, so did my commitment to learning. I completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), further business qualifications and industry certifications while gaining practical experience across hundreds of businesses in a wide range of industries.
In 2013, I expanded my business into a full-service bookkeeping, accounting and advisory practice. After successfully supporting hundreds of clients, I sold the practice in 2018 before moving into executive finance leadership, where I spent five years helping build finance functions, improve systems and support the growth of fast-growing organisations.
Today, Virtual Bookkeeping & Advisory brings together the best of both worlds—hands-on bookkeeping expertise combined with real commercial and executive finance experience.
